Wojciech Dylewicz

Polish Inclusion Officer

Wojciech studied Psychology at the Warsaw School of Social Psychology and arrived in N.Ireland in 2006. He has used his professioanl skills in a volunatry capacity with Praxis NI and The Psychological Centre in Dublin. HE also serves  on the Board of the Polish Asosication NI. 

 

Rasa Juodiske

Lithuanian Inclusion Officer

Rasa has lived in N.Ireland since 2007 and brings with her a long history of community involvement which streaches back to the delivery of a diverse range of projects in Lithuania. Rasa studied Law in her homeland and continues to advance her interest in Commercial Law via the Open University programme

 

Hetty Smith

Family Inclusion Officer

Hetty lived for  21 years in Portugal and is familiar with the issues faced by young mothers bringing up their children in a different culture. After returning to N.Ireland, Hetty worked as a Portuguese community interpreter in the Craigavon area, provided  English lessons to Portuguese speakers and has been involved in creating informal support groups for women and their families from a range of ethnic backgrounds.

 

Andrew McCreery

Ethnic Inclusion Youth Worker

Andrew brings to his role within CIP a diverse range of experience gained through voluntary youth work in the Craigavon area both among local and ethnic communities. Having worked for several years with Cedar Foundation as a Disability Inclusion Officer he delivered projects in Northern Ireland and took groups on exchange programmes to America and Europe.  

 

 

Gordon Woolsey

Ethnic Youth Worker

Gordon has worked in a range of cokmmunity seeting in the Portadown area, delivering projects for children and young people and is an active member of a local community group. Gordon is involved in youth projects in central Craigavon.

Carolina Aguinaga

Admin Worker

Born in Brazil, Carolina was brought up in Portugal where  she studied Marketing. She has a keen interest in Mediawork and is currently studing Event management at the Universityof Ulster.

Stephen Smith    Chairperson

Orginally from Portadown, Stephen worked for 25 years in Portugal as a missionary. Returning to N.Ireland in 2001 Stephen has assisted the intergation of new communities as a Community Interpreter, English teacher and sits on a variety of local and regional committees and agencies. He enjoys meeting new people and seeing them develop their lives. 

Dr. Arthur Cassidy   Vice chairperson

Arthur recently retired as lecturer at Queens University in Belfast where his focus was mental health. Arthur has travelled widely through Europe lecturering in many countries especially Poland. At a community level, Arthur is involved in suicide prevention inititatives and recently founded Yellow Ribbon, a suicide pervention support group in Portadown.

 

Paul Burrow - Treasurer

Peter spent 15 years teaching in England, France and Northern Ireland. He then moved to the British Council and worked on a number of European and International programmes for more than 25 years. He still teaches English at home and abroard and loves travelling to different parts of the world.

 

Romyall Quininão  Secretary

Romyall works in a local industrial company and comes from the Philippines where he worked with Care International on sustainable community projects. Romyall has been deeply involved with the local and regional Filipino support groups in developing sports projects for the local Filipino community promoting their intergration.   

 

 

Ewe Mincinska

Ewe comes from Gnask in Poland where she worked as an office manager and was involved in  youth projects acroos the country.. Ewe arrived in N.Ireland several years ago and beside continuing in chosen carrer  as an office manager  she has been involved in community projects in the Portadown area. Ewe enjoys music and drama. 

 

Lucia Duarte

Orginally form Brazil, Lucia spent a period of her life in Portugal, where she continued her interest in journalism. Lucia lives in central Craigavon with her family and faciliates craft sessions for community groups

Joice Matthrews

Born in India, Joice has spent most of his life in Northern Ireland. Joice is project coordinator for Mindwise, delivering projects for the benefit of those who suffer from mental issues concerns in the Craigavon area.
