Sport has been indentified as one of the best methods of engaging diverse commuities in positive interaction. Since its inception, CIP has used Sports activities to develop its social network and the experience has developed a range of inclusive activities that have contributed to social cohesion.

CIP has been instrumental in developing sport's activities for the New Communities in Craigavon.
Basketball
LITHUANIAN - Baskeball is the most popular sport in Lithuania. After a group of local Lithuanian basketball players were identified, they were supported in forming the Craigavon Lithuanian Basketball Team and train most Saturday evenings at Goodyear Sports Club in Lurgan. POLISH - A group of Polish basketball players commenced train at Richill Leisure Centre and Portadown Presbyterian Sports Hall , New players are welcomed. Contact the CIP office for more info.
FILIPINO - The Craigavon Philipino Basketball team has been in existance for several years.
VOLLEYBALL- A group of Polish volleyball players meet at Brownlow Leiure Centre each Sunday from 12pm-2pm
FUTSAL. CIP is seeking players that would be interested in developing their Futsal Skills.
