Title: PROJECT TWENTY ONE - Youth Project
Description: To view  the video of the project click - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv0P_46yoyo
Project twenty one was an innovative, photographic, good relations project whereby 21 young people, aged 16-22, from both sides of the religious divide in Portadown came together to work as one group to capture and present photographs of what they saw were symbols and images of their respective communities.

The project was delivered in partnership by Goalline Youth Trust and Craigavon Intercultural Programme. It was funded by the International Fund for Ireland and was managed by the N.Ireland Rural Development Council (RDC) under the Intergrating Communities Programme. Project Twenty-One could not have been realized without the committment and creativity of the young people involved. Working together they demonstrated genuine respect for each other and  a determination to move towards a shared future with confidence.

The young people were provided with cameras and were guided on their photgraphic journey by Nick Hutchinson from BNL Productions. The prohotgraphs the group choose for this exhibition & booklet, document poignant images and provide a lasting record of their journey together. It is hoped that it will raise awareness of the myriad of issues still affecting many today, portray the ironic contraditions vividly displayed in communities, challenge sectarianism and present the aspirations of  a new generation.
